BLACK AUTUMN TRUFFLE lat. Tuber Unicantum

from 73,50

The black autumn truffle is hunted from September until January. It is most commonly found in the shady part of the forest. It grows in a diameter from 2 to 9cm, it is usually smaller than the black summer truffle and its colour can be black-brown to black. Its shape is most often pyramidal or prismatic with 4-6 irregular surfaces. It is darker than the summer truffle, with characteristic marble-like patterns that do not change colour even when exposed to air. Its aroma is medium strong, but more powerful than the aroma of the summer truffle with pronounced phenols. Its flavour is extremely nutty. From September to January, our selection includes fresh black autumn truffles.
